MS2 Covid-19 Rapid Antigen Test Kit

Step 1: Before you start

Please read carefully through all the instructions. You must be over the age of 18 to use this collection kit.

Step 2: Arrange for pickup

For accurate results, courier pickup must be arranged and scheduled on the same day you take the sample. Please refer to the instructions on how to arrange your sample for pickup. Please note that couriers do not operate on Saturday and Sunday.

Step 3: Wash your hands

Thoroughly wash your hands in warm, soapy water for a minimum of 30 seconds and dry.

Step 4: Remove transport tube from kit

Remove the sample transport tube from the kit. Screw on the lid and place the tube on a flat surface. Do not spill the contents of the tube.

Step 5: Remove nasal swab from packaging

Partially peel open the nasal swab package and remove the swab from the packet. This swab is needed on both nostrils and should not make any physical contact with any surface or touch.

Step 6: Insert swab into first nostril

Gently insert the swab vertically into the first nostril until you feel a slight gentle resistance.

Step 7: Collect nasal sample

Keeping the swab in place, rotate it for 10 seconds and gently remove from the nose. Do not force the swab further up in the nose. Both nostrils must be sampled before placing the swab in the tube.

Step 8: Repeat in the second nostril

Please repeat Steps 6 and 7 for the second nostril.

Step 9: Place the swab into the sample transport tube

Immediately place the swab into the sample transport tube after sampling. Ensurer the swab tip is covered by the liquid in the sample transport tube. Carefully break the swab at the marked line against the side of the tube. Discard the top portion of the swab.

Step 10: Screw the sample transport tube lid closed

Screw the lid of the sample transport tube tightly to close it. This is to ensure the lid does not come offduring shipping, which will prevent your sample from being accurately processed.

Step 11: Seal the sample transport tube in the biohazard bag

Place the sample transport tube in the biohazard bag. Do not remove the absorbent pad from the biohazard bag. To seal the bag, remove the yellow strip of plastic and fold down the flap.

Step 12: Place the biohazard bag in test box

Place the biohazard bag back into the MS2 test box. Ensure you have folded the biohazard bag flap to seal it. Make sure you have filled in the lab sticker (located on the biohazard bag).

Step 13: Wash your hands
